It’s always a pleasure to come through the doors of the Mayfield. Groups of residents can be seen doing puzzles, playing Bingo, reading or just chatting with each other. Eventhough I haven’t been able to volunteer with activities as much as I would have liked, there’s always a number of smiling faces who are happy to greet me. The support that residents receive not only from the staff but also from each other is heartwarming. I always leave feeling blessed to have been there!

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The residents are treated with respect and well cared for. My sister says the meals are very good. The staff engages the residents in activities if they choose to join in, and do special activities for special days, e.g. Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Christmas and New Years, birthdays. The Mayfield is kept clean and clutter free.
